Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad took a hit at Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Monday. He said that the more Digvijaya Singh speaks out, the more votes BJP gets.

The Minister speaking to the media responded to the comments that senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh gave on Amit Shah’s decision to scrap Article 370.

Digvijaya Singha advised Modi, Shah and Ajit Doval trio to handle the Kashmir situation with thoughtfulness, otherwise, Kashmir will slip out of India’s hands. Digvijaya Singh cited international media reports. He said that the government is playing with the fire by abolishing Article 370.

Digvijaya Singh while speaking to media, also lashed out at Shivraj Singh Chouhan for branding Jawaharlal Nehru as criminal for imposing Article 370. To this, Congress leader said that Shivraj Chouhan is not even the dust of Nehru’s feet, he should be ashamed for such comments.

Responding to these comments, Ravi Shankar Prasad took a jibe at the Congress leader and said that, the more he speaks, the more BJP gets the vote. He also told the media that Digvijaya’s comments are hurting his own party as it is decreasing their vote share.

Digvijaya Singh has also questioned the Sonia Gandhi if it is just Digvijaya Singh speaking or is he conveying in party’s behalf.

Parliament has scrapped Article 370 that used to gave special status to the Jammu and Kashmir and also approved Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act 2019. Now the erstwhile state has been divided into two Union territories.

Earlier Digviajya Singh also questioned the BJP government’s decision of halting Amarnath pilgrimage.
