Intensifying its hunt to retain power at Centre and embarking on mission ‘Delhi’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday will address a massive ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital. This will be the first rally of PM Modi in the national capital in a run-up to the national elections. PM Modi will be seeking votes for all seven candidates in the national capital.

Reportedly, more than 5000 buses have been booked by the BJP to ferry people from all corners of Delhi for PM Modi’s Mega show. As claimed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Over 2.5 lakh people expected to attend PM Modi’s mega show in the national capital. Apart from PM Modi, many Delhi Leaders are also expected to share the dais with PM Modi.

PM Modi in a run-up to the national elections is expected to address at least one more rally in the national capital where polls due on May 12. BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari, who himself is contesting from North East Delhi seeking the second term, had requested PM Modi to address at least four rallies in Delhi.

Meanwhile, BJP president Amit Shah will also campaign in Delhi on Wednesday. He will address a public meeting in the Vasant Kunj area. Union minister Vijay Goel said that PM Modi’s rally at the Ramlila Maidan will be the last nail in the coffin of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress in Delhi.

Earlier on Monday, BJP Senior Leader and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting to seek votes for party sitting MP Parvesh Verma from Delhi West Lok Sabha Seat. Singh held a rally in West Sagarpur area of the Parliamentary seat.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a run-up to the national elections has named Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, Ramesh Bidhuri from Delhi South, Dr Harshvardhan from Chandi Chowk, among others.

BJP is taking on AAP and Congress in the national capital in the mega polls 2019.

Lok Sabha Polls 2019 has already begun and is being held across Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Counting of Votes and Results for the mega Battle of ballots will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting.

All 7 Lok Sabha seats of the national capital will poll on May 12. In the 2014 national elections, BJP bagged all seven seats in the national capital.
