In a big loss to Aam Aadmi Party ahead of Lok Sabha 2019, Senior Lawyer and Party Punjab Leader HS Phoolka announced his disassociation with the Kejriwal led Party on Thursday. Senior Lawyer, HS Phoolka took to Twitter to announce that he had submitted his resignation to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, who asked him to reconsider his decision. “But I insisted,” Phoolka said.

AAP Punjab Leader added that he will address a Press Conference today at 4 pm to disclose his reasons for leaving AAP and his future plans. “I have resigned from AAP & handed over resignation to Kejriwal ji today. Though he asked me not to resign but I insisted. Will be briefing media tomorrow at 4pm at Press Club, Raisina Rd, New Delhi to explain the Reason of leaving AAP & my further plans” HS Phoolka said in a tweet on Thursday.

HS Phoolka who have been assigned the responsibility of a Leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly in March 2017, resigned from the post last year to continue to fight for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots, after the Delhi Bar Council barred him from appearing for the riots cases against Sajjan Kumar and others, citing that he enjoyed an office of profit.
