What can be seen big sop ahead of the State Polls in Andhra Pradesh, the main opposition party YSR Congress Party Boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy promised Universal Health Card Scheme for poor, if voted to power in the state.

Reddy who is making intense efforts to unseat TDP Boss and CM Chandrababu Naidu made the announcement while addressing at Kuppam in Chittoor District, days ahead of the State Polls in Andhra Pradesh which are slated to be clubbed with national elections 2019.

YSR Congress Party YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s flagship programme will allow free healthcare access to poor and middle-class families.

YSR Congress Party further revealing details about its big sop stated in the statement, ‘Any individual of the state with an annual income of up to Rs. 5,00,000 can avail this scheme. The party claimed that Several lakh individuals in the state from poor and middle-class families will benefit from this and to be given Universal Health Cards to avail medical services for free’.

The YSRCP said that the whole scheme will be monitored by party chief himself and the government will provide a cover of Rs 1,00,000 under this.

Further speaking in the public meeting, YSRCP Chief Jaganmohan Reddy said with this scheme of Universal Healthcare he is fulfilling the dream of his father and former Chief Minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s big announcement came a day before when the YSRCP is set to release its poll manifesto. The ruling TDP is also expected to unveil its manifesto on Saturday, on the eve of Ugadi, the Telugu new year falls.

YSRCP in a run-up to the polls will take on the ruling Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP, Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party who has inked an alliance with BSP, BJP, and Congress.

The Campaigning for the Andhra Hunt is in full swing mode with all the major parties of the state leaving no stone unturned.

Andhra Pradesh has a total of 175 state Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats. State Polls of Andhra Pradesh will be held Simultaneously along with the General Elections.

General Elections are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Election Commission had on Sunday declared schedule for General Elections 2019.
