Samajwadi Party Patriarch and Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav was on Monday admitted to a private hospital in Gurgaon, a party spokesperson said. The Party Spokesperson added that Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital on Monday night.
He reached Delhi from Lucknow in a charted plane and was later admitted to Medanta. Sources within the family claimed that he was shifted to Gurgaon following the advice of the Doctor.
Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Mulayam Singh Yadav at his residence in Lucknow and enquired about his health. Akhilesh Yadav, Shivpal Yadav were also present when the CM called on the party patriarch. ‘Yogi Ji has come to know about the health of the Neta Ji (Mulayam Singh Yadav), said Akhilesh Yadav in a tweet.

Earlier on Sunday, Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow for a routine check-up after his blood sugar level rose.
He was later discharged after a few hours.
