Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir in a fresh encounter Killed the mastermind, Kamran alias Ghazi Rasheed, behind the Pulwama Terror Attach that had on Thursday, Feb 14, claimed lives of at least 40 CRPF Personnel. Kamran Alias Ghazi Rasheed was eliminated by security forces along with two more terrorists in an encounter that started in the early hours of Monday.

Reportedly, A joint team of Indian Army’s 55 Rashtriya Rifles, CRP, and Special Operation Group launched a cordon in the wee hours on Monday.

Four Army personnel, including a major, and two Jaish terrorists were killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, three days after a suicide bomber from the group drove his explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in the area, Defence officials said.

India turned on the heat on Pakistan after the Pulwama Attack on February 14 as the organization – Jaish E Mohammad (JeM) that claimed the responsibility of the Terror Attack is Pakistan Based.

India has intensified the efforts to isolate Pakistan on the international level. India will urge the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) an international monetary watchdog, to blacklist Pakistan. India had on Friday also revoked the MFN Status given to Pakistan.

Pakistan on Sunday denied its role in the Pulwama terror attack, saying that accusations were India’s tactics to put the blame on the neighbors for its security and intelligence failures. These knee-jerk and pre-conceived accusations were rejected also because they were made within a short time after the attack and without any investigations,” Mohammad Faisal, spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, tweeted on Sunday.

On Thursday, Around 40 CRPF personnel were killed in the deadliest terror attack on security forces in a decade when their convoy was targetted in Pulwama District on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. The convoy comprised 78 Buses in which around 2500 CRPF Personnel were traveling from Jammu and Kashmir.

A bus, in which 42 CRPF Personnel was traveling was being targetted and got extensively damaged in the blast that was followed by firing on the vehicle.

Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish e Mohammad (JeM) claimed the responsibility of the Pulwama Terror Attack and reportedly stated that it was a suicide bomber.
