Mamata being ignorant

GST, demonetization and the slowing economy are three major points that is currently going against the ruling BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Though BJP is ensuring that all is well and the Indian eocnomy is running on the right tracks, the opposition and the people are thinking otherwise.

Gujarat will be facing the assembly elections in two phases on 9 and 14 Dec and ahead of the elections the opposition is trying hard to finally end its 22 years of political exlie in the state. Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi have been attacking BJP over its failure on implementation of GST and the experiment of Modi of banning the old currency in almost all of his addresses recently.

After Rahul, now it the Trinamool Congress leader and Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee is now likely to address the people of Gujarat and attack BJP over GST. According to the experts this move of Banerjee is taken in wake to strengthen her image as the strongest critic of BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections due in 2019.

The traders in Gujarat are the most affected and the most inconvinced with the implementation of GST and taking advantage of this Mamata Banerjee will be using it as an opportunity to pave path against BJP.

Banerjee is planning to oppose every move of BJP, as the opposition is planning to obeserve 8 Nov, the day when the old curency was banned as the balck day in order to protest against this move of the government. Though BJP has declared celebrating the day as anti-blck day, Banerjeehas instructed her party to support the Congress and observe it as a black day.

She is also likely to go to Delhi and hold rallies and address against BJP from the common platform of the opposition. Other that the GST, recently Mamata is also ferociously protesting against the governments orders to link Addhar card to the incresing numver of services. With all her strength and political abilities the West Bengal Chief Minister has been backing Congress in their opposition to linking of Aadhaar with the mobile numbers and social sector schemes.

According to the senior political analysts, Banerjee do not want to leave any stone unturned, she is garbbing every possible opportunity to fill in the gap created by the differences between the Congress and the Communists in Eastern India and fit in her party. Banerjee wants to make sure that her presence is strongly felt in the political equations that are likely to be formed aganist BJP in the near future.

Mamata Banerjess is known for her fiery image and a political figure who does not give a second thought to statnd the powerful. An anaylyst said “Banerjee has nurtured the fiery image consciously. She always made herself look like a politician who never hesitated to take a stand against the mighty and the powerful.”

If given a glance at the past incidents which built this fiery image of Mamata, is that she was the one who walked out against the UPA government protesting against the incresing prices of the fuels and also critisised the government of ignoring the opinoions of the allies. The anaylyst pointing out the motives behind the moves of Banerjee said that “Now, when most of the opposition parties and states are falling in line, Banerjee wants to build an image of a politician who has the guts to take on Modi-Shah combine. Moreover, she does not want the field to remain open for the Congress and she wants a significant share of credit in a possible anti-BJP coalition.”

Mamata’s address in Gujarat against BJP is surely growing to strengthen the Congress, who is fighting hard to defeat the mighty BJP in Gujarat.
