Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath addresses a rally in Patna, Bihar and urged the people to vote for BJP candidate from Patna Sahib, Ravi Shankar Prasad calling him pairokar (advocate) for Ram temple.

Loading the Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in the election rally, Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath said that his achievements included a clamp down on triple talaq at improving connectivity through digital India. Ravi Shankar Prasad is not only the paragraph of ram temple but also the man responsible for ensuring justice to Aadhi Abadi (half the population a Hindi colloquial used to describe women) by attacking the custom of triple talaq.

Raising the religious sentiments of the people Yogi Aditya Nath said to the crowd that you are going to elect a person who is needed by millions of ‘Ram Bhakts’ across the country.

Ravi Shankar Prasad was one of the petitioners in Ayodhya title suit which was decided by Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court in 2010. The appeal against the petitioner is still pending before the Supreme Court. As a law minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad has played a crucial role in introducing the controversial ordinance making triple talaq punishable with imprisonment which was opposed by National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners like the JD-U. The ordinance was followed by a bill in the Parliament where it met with stiff resistance by the NDA partners.

Ravi Shankar Prasad also holds the IT and telecommunication portfolio before training is dancer Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Targeting Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and the ruling party in West Bengal after the Election Commission’s order of curtailing the campaigning, Yogi Aditya Nath said that law and order in West Bengal have collapse and chaos prevails in the state. “There is a dictatorship in the guise of democracy,” added Adityanath.

He claimed that he had 3 rallies schedules in West Bengal earlier this week for which the permissions were denied and finally was given on Wednesday.

Reminding the massive conflicts in Kolkata ahead of the Amit shah’s roadshow between the the Akhil Bharatiya Vidya Parishad (ABVP) and Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad (TMCP) on a college Street that led to chaos and crisis of law and order in the state, Amit Shah said that there is an urgent need to choose a political party that will ensure peace and harmony unlike West Bengal government.

Congress has fielded the sitting MP Shatrughan Sinha against Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib parliamentary constituency.

Patna Sahib will witness polls in the 7th phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 19 on Sunday.
