Gearing up for the Lok Sabha Polls 2019 which are just days away, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign in a bid to kicked off BJP‘s Poll Campaign. It is seen as the counter-attack to the Congress president Rahul Gandhi continuous attacks on the Narendra Modi with “Chowkidar chor hai” jibe on Rafale Issue.

As a part of the campaign, PM Modi will also interact with people from across the country on 31 March in a run to the general elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar. Announcing the launch of the Campaign, PM Modi on his twitter account shared a video with a message, ‘Your Chowkidar is standing firm & serving the nation. But, I am not alone. Everyone who is fighting corruption, dirt, social evils is a Chowkidar. Everyone working hard for the progress of India is a Chowkidar. Today, every Indian is saying-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his addresses in Public Rallies has ofter referred himself as a ‘chowkidar’ who is safeguarding the interest of the Country. While Opposition in recent times training guns towards the PM Modi accusing him of corruption in Rafale and took jibes with ‘Chowkidar hi Chor Hai’.

Bhartiya Janta Party in the press statement said that the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ Campaign has been finalised after a lot of data analysis and surveys that shown Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ jibes and the campaign is not resonating among people.

With just days left for Lok Sabha Polls now, all the parties are leaving no stone unturned to outdo each other in the mega battle of ballots. However, BJP is yet declared any candidates while its Opposition has already declared three lists of 50 candidates.

Election Commission had on March 10 declared schedule for General Elections 2019. Lok Sabha Polls are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Counting of Votes and Results for the mega Battle of ballots will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting.
