Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

Fortnite Season 10 kicked off on August 1. Ever since its launch, Fortnite has had an amazing journey and that continues to be the case with Season 10. Fortnite is currently on Season 10 which is about to end. Season 10 was scheduled to end on October 6 with update v10.40 to be the final update of this season. However, the update is live now but it  Season 10 has been extended and will end on October 13 at 2 p.m. ET.

10.4.1 patch notes read, “We may be almost out of time, but we’re not out just yet—Season X has been extended a week!”

Season 10 has been quite an interesting journey for Fortnite. As the season kicked-off, the newly introduced B.R.U.T.E Mech was under controversy which Epic had to finally nerf and then recently they were found blowing themselves. We have know Epic Games to be a big pop-culture fan. And Season 10 saw some really exciting crossovers and updates including the recent ‘Area 51 themed skin owing to the famous Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop Us All‘ meme and the currently ongoing FortniteXBatman‘ crossover to honor the iconic superhero’s 80th anniversary. As for updates, v10.31 update saw the arrival of a ‘Party Hub’ in-game voice chat feature.

And now, as Season 10 approaches its end, fans are really excited to know what the new season has in store for us. Leaks even suggest that a new map is on the way, arriving with Season 11. But fans will have to wait until October 13, following the Season 10 extension. Interestingly before the current season ends, there will be an overtime mission, called Out of Time, available starting on October 8. The patch also unlocks the Flint-Knock Pistol.
