Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Since Samsung has launched its S-series flagship this year, it could now focus on its other Note-series flagship smartphone. There have already been various rumors and speculations about the next-generation Galaxy Note. There have been reports that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with an edge-to-edge screen with no punch-hole camera or notch whatsoever, this would be possible because Samsung is planning to implement the front camera in the iconic Spen. There have also been reports that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will replace physical buttons in favor of haptic sensory touches. The latest information coming out of South Korea suggests that Samsung is working on a smaller version of Galaxy Note 10.

If the report is credible, it would mark the first time Samsung would be releasing two variants of its Note smartphone. Since having three variants of the Galaxy S10 has helped Samsung acquiring different segments of the market, especially with the Galaxy S10e, Samsung is looking forward to attempting the same approach with its Galaxy Note-series.

According to local reports from South Korea, the smaller variant of the Galaxy Note 10 will ship to select markets, Europe to be precise. While Samsung Galaxy Note series is a widely acclaimed device as one of the best smartphones out there, users often have a problem with the size of the device. With the new smaller variant, Samsung might be looking forward to catering to the customers who want the performance of Note in a smaller form factor. The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to come with a 6.7-inch display, so the smaller variant may retain the 6.4-inch display of the Galaxy Note 9.

Additionally, the report adds that Samsung has sourced parts from its suppliers for both models separately. With Galaxy S10e, Samsung seems to be on the right track in terms of putting out compact smartphones. Samsung might be planning to ride the high by launching a smaller variant of the Galaxy Note 10.

Notably, this is mere speculation and it is far from certain that Samsung will be launching two variants of the Galaxy Note 10. What can be expected with reasonable certainty is that there will be a 4G and 5G version of the Galaxy Note 10.
