Samsung Galaxy Note 10

Samsung Galaxy S10 has been received with appreciation in the tech world, as the device came with some innovative features such as punch-hole display accommodating the selfie camera. However, that has only hyped the excitement for Samsung’s next upcoming flagship. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is set to be the company’s next flagship device and with the Galaxy Note 9 touted as one of the best smartphones to be launched in 2018, Galaxy Note 10 is something to get excited about. A new report from South Korean publications ETNews, however, suggest that Samsung might be changing things up a bit with the Galaxy Note 10.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 may not feature any physical buttons whatsoever. Without buttons, it may seem that it would be difficult to navigate the device. Nevertheless, the report adds that Samsung would replace the physical buttons with touch sensors or gestures. That means the volume rocker, power buttons, and Bixby button would be replaced by haptic gestures and touch sensors. It is also possible that the company might integrate HTC like side squeeze feature.

According to the report, Samsung would be implementing the feature with Galaxy-A device first, in order to test it and gain an insight into its usability. It would not be the first time Samsung would be implementing a feature in a Galaxy-A device before integrating it into its flagship devices, as the company has tried numerous features with that line-up of smartphones. Features like quad-camera module and punch-hole camera have been included with the Galaxy-A lineup at first, while some of the features to be included with the line-up even remain exclusive to the series. Interestingly, an earlier report has already claimed that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will feature quad-camera setup.

If the feedback for the removal of physical buttons come positive, Samsung might indeed launch its flagship smartphones with the feature. Samsung typically launches its Note smartphone in August or September, so more news regarding the device would flow as the release date inches closer. As of now, it is still very early for the real leaks and rumors to flow in.
