Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20 smartphone in India. The company announced the arrival of the smartphone on Friday revealing that the smartphone will be available for purchase in the country starting next week. The smartphone has been launched as a part of Samsung’s revamped Galaxy-A series and will be joining the likes of Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 smartphones in Samsung’s India portfolio.

Originally, the Samsung Galaxy A20 was introduced in Russia last month, and India is among the first market to get the smartphone.

Samsung has launched that Galaxy A20 at a price of ₹12,490. The smartphone will be available in a single 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant with Black, Blue and Red color options to choose from. According to Samsung, the Galaxy A20 will go on sale in India starting from April 10 through Samsung Online Shop, Samsung Opera House, major online retailers, and brick-and-mortar stores.

As for the launch offer, the company has not revealed any offers so far.

In terms of specifications, Samsung Galaxy A20 features a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. It has a waterdrop notch on the top fashioned according to the company’s Infinity-V display. It is powered by Exynos 7884 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage on the device can further be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s One UI on top.

As far as camera compatibility is concerned, the device features dual-rear camera compromising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the device has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Moreover, the smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and is backed up by a 4,000mAH battery with fast-charging support as well as a USB type-C port.
