Xiaomi has released the latest MIUI 10 global stable ROM for Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India. The Android Pie-based MIUI 10 stable version 10.2.6.0.PFHINXM will be rolling out to all the Redmi Note Pro models. Xiaomi has also provided an official Recovery ROM and a Fastboot ROM on its MIUI Forum. It can be downloaded and installed manually.
Users who intend to flash from Developer ROM to Stable ROM on Redmi Note 7 Pro need to backup and wipe all data prior to flashing as it might cause serious incompatible issues like FC, no network etc, noted company. The official changelog only mentions ‘optimize system fluency’ and ‘optimization to improve system stability’.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in two variants in terms of RAM and storage: 4GB RAM with 64GB of onboard storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of onboard storage. Xiaomi has priced the 4GB RAM at ₹13,999 while the 6GB RAM variant of the device is priced at ₹16,999.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 7 Pro features the same “Aura Design” as the Redmi Note 7 as well as the same 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop-style notch. Both the front and the back of the device sports a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection for added durability. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro houses a dual camera setup at the back compromising of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. At the front, the device has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
The device is backed up by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. Further, the device has a rear fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM support (hybrid). Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and Infrared.
