There is no move which Tamil superstar, Vijay does without creating waves. On November 14, the teaser of his next, Master came out on YouTube. Like his films, the teaser of the film broke records upon its release. It has already amassed 23 million views and 2 million likes. This is a new record.
Overjoyed with the response, the film’s teaser got XB Film Creations, the producers behind the film, took to Twitter to reveal this news. They wrote–

In Master, Vijay is playing the role of a college professor who is a heavy drinker. As every action film requires a solid villain, Master is going to feature one too. The actor, Vijay Sethupathi is the one who is going to lend his gravitas as a villain to the film.
Apart from them, the film also features actors Malavika Mohanan and Arjun Das among others. Helming the film is Lokesh Kanagaraj. Two years ago in November 2019, work on Master started. In April this year, the film was to release but the COVID-19 virus came in its way.
Now the makers are in dilemma and will soon decide the release date of the film. Vijay is a massive superstar whose fans are waiting for a long time for Master’s release. His soaring popularity is the reason, trade analysts expect Master to draw the audiences back to theatres in huge numbers, once the film releases.
